About Kamut
Kamut is the ancient Egyptian word for wheat and although Kamut is very closely related to wheat, many people who are wheat intolerant can eat Kamut with no problems – more than 60% of people allergic to wheat can tolerate Kamut
Kamut is a high protein grain, generally containing 30% more protein than wheat but less fibre. This is a healthy energy grain with elevated levels of vitamin E, thiamin, riboflavin, phosphorus, magnesium, zinc, pantothenic acid, copper and complex carbohydrates.
If you have wheat allergies, you can enjoy Kamut’s unique buttery flavour with confidence.
